La Baraque A Flip 2015

'La baraque a flip' is a new pinball show. First edition was 6 and 7 june in Carvin, France.
In advance not much information was found about it, only some adds stating that there also was the french pinball championship. Some posts on their facebook page and a few days before the show their website went live. Still not much information was on there (about hours / planning of the competition, only saturday qualifications), so many belgian players didn't know what to expect and if it was worth a visit.
But after al it wasn't so far away from Belgium, ideally to combine with a trip to the city of Lille, which we did.

Once arrived the show was definitely worth a visit. The hall housed a large number of pinball machines of all brands and generations. Especially when you keep in mind the entrance fee was only 3 euro (in other countries you pay a multiple of this for a show with so many machines) it was worth the trip.
A large number of volunteers helped. There was a shop selling t-shirts and posters, drinks, and a technical team busy repairing all machines that showed a problem. Impressive how well it was organised, considering it was the first time this show was held.

Satuerday morning it was quite calm and you could play most machines. As from 2pm more people arrived and most games were occupied all the time.
