Comic Sans Gent

Comic Sans is a pub located in the historic centre of Ghent. The entrance is quite small, just a set of doors in between other restaurants and pubs with a large sign over it. It's easy to miss as a tourist. Which would be unfortunate, as it's a great location to visit. For almost 10 years, Comic Sans is the place to be for board games, amusement games, superheroes, specialty beer and combinations of those with other nerdy activities.

Since the beginning, Comic Sans became a hotspot for pinball players in Belgium. Comic Sans was one of the first barcades in Belgium: it was one of the few locations which would offer more than 5 pinball machines when they started. The operator, Torius Horecaspelen usually puts all their newest games on this location first, so all tournament players visit this location to learn the newest machines. Being able to enter a highscore on a game here means something, you're ranking against the best of the best.

Most Stern launch events are also held at this location, along with other qualifications for tournaments and other side events. The location is registered in Stern Inside Connect.
